WHAT DID YOU LOVE OR DISLIKE ABOUT THE LAST SEASON OF THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF OC?:

I actually enjoyed most of last season. I had a lot of great things happening in my career and new opportunities coming my way that I was so grateful for and still am! I enjoyed mending friendships and making new ones as well. The only thing I did not like was the drama between Alexis and I and the ladies, that was not fun.

CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THE CURRENT STATUS OF THE SHOW IS NOW? WILL YOU BE BACK NEXT YEAR?:

Yes I will be back for season 8 and we are currently in production for this season.

WHAT OTHER PROJECTS ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORKING ON?:

I love working with charities. Charity just makes you feel like you are doing something right. It is a great way to use my voice and give back to this world. Slade (Slade Smiley) and I work closely with the Beckstrand Cancer Foundation and with The Breast Cancer Charities of America (percentage of proceeds from my Pink Collection are going back to them) Since Slade and I have suffered so much from the effects of family members having cancer it is important that we give back to these kind of foundations.

HOW IS GRETCHEN CHRISTINE GOING?:

The Gretchen Christine Brand continues to grow and expand every season. I am always so honored to be recognized as a hard-working woman entrepreneur like how I was recently on the cover of Panache and Lioness magazines, and most recently asked to speak at a large business conference with the likes of Kathy Ireland! We were thrilled to be a part of New York Fashion Week in September presenting our Pink Collection and Fall 2013 collection. Gretchen Christine Cosmetics is adding a nail polish line to the collection and I am excited for that launch coming up soon! I am also excited about my collaboration with Luxe swimwear by Lisa Vogel to create some Gretchen Christine designs within that collection coming this spring. We have already had some great creative meetings regarding the look and feel of what “Gretchen Christine” will be bringing to the collection. I also reached out to my fans through social media and asked them what they were looking for and wanted in a bikini, so I was thrilled to have some great feedback from them as well.

I AM SURE EVERYONE WANTS TO KNOW (MORE) ABOUT SLADE TOO. WE REALLY LIKE HIM ON THIS BLOG (and FORMER BLOG: CINDERELLAS GLASS CLOSET) AND SUPPORT BOTH OF YOU. CAN YOU TELL ME IF YOU ARE WORKING ON ANY JOINT PROJECTS ? AND/OR HOW DO YOU THINK HE PLAYS A ROLE IN YOUR CAREER?:

Slade will always play a role in my career because he is my partner in life, and that is what partners do. However he has his own thing going within the Radio world and his show “Radio Slade” did so well that it is being considered for syndication now, which has been so exciting. Slade and I have a lot of joint projects together that haven’t really been discussed on this show but it is a way to continue to grow and expand our portfolio of businesses so that we have security for our future. Slade and I are great partners in everything we do. I support him and he supports me!

Slade and I have been talking babies and next steps in our relationship a lot lately, so I am excited about the next chapter of our lives.
