Cinderella’s Glass PR is excited to feature Rich Valdes who is the man behind the highly anticipated birthday event for the legendary Ice-T. As you know, Ice-T is an infamous actor, rapper, and more. If you would like to learn more about Ice-T please read Wikipedia.org , and visit his personal website: IceT.com Cinderella’s Glass PR has heard about the Ice-T Birthday Party & Aquarius Celebration, inconjunction with the end of Fashion Week for several months now. It is the party to be at. Unfortunately, I am not in NYC, and will not be attending the event. On the upside, I will receive first hand information from Amelia Meloni of Amelia Meloni PR, and Vintage NYC Magazine: VintageNYCMag.com
So much has been said about the party, such as the night’s elaborate guest list including: CoCo, Wendy Williams, Tracy DiMarco (Jerseylicious), Doug E. Fresh, and more. There will also be live performances by Naughty By Nature, Chubb Rock, Spoony G, and even
more. I could go on and on about the fabulous night. However, I would like to spotlight the night with inside information, and photos as them come in (after the event).
Today, I want to tell you about the man behind the extravagant event. Rich Valdes has a passion for, and experience in business and marketing (to say the least). Recently, Valdes was appointed by “New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s administration to develop and raise awareness for the state’s network of ‘Family Success Centers’ in five North Jersey counties (Essex, Bergen, Union, Hudson and Passaic). ” Prior to that, Valdes led a similar campaign at a small college: Somerset Christian College. That campaign ‘launched a new adult education program in Newark, NJ.”
In addition, Valdes is starting his own company. The company partners with people, and organizations to not only meet their goals, but the company aids the partners in upholding social responsibilities. The company does this by marketing worthy causes. For example, Valdes has partnered with some large names in the industry. The names include everyone from reality TV stars (as a booking agent), to the American Red Cross. Valdes has worked with VH1 Save The Music, and The DoGood .com Foundation (founded by Actor Stephen Baldwin) on events where he is responsible for everything from the celebrity guest list, to spotlighting the sponsors.
In fact, Valdes met Ice-T at a celebrity fundraiser that he initiated for VH1 Save The Music. I am also impressed that Valdes not only works for Vh1 Save The Music, but he is also on The VH1 Save The Music Foundation’s Young Benefactors Council. It appears as though Valdes really goes the extra mile. He cares about the projects he works on, and the people that he works with. He is not the man that just shows up to produce an event, gets paid, and then leaves. He is actually responsible for initiating events, rounding up sponsors, executing the event, and more. He does these tasks with sincerity, integrity, and a big heart.
When Valdes and Ice-T met, Ice-T saw the hard work that Valdes puts in to his events. This is why the legendary rapper, asked the legendary promoter (Valdes) if he would work on the annual Aquarius Celebration. The two men discussed how they might integrate a charity in to the event. That is when they decided to “offer a sponsorship opportunity to an up and coming fashion designer.” This idea absolutely made sense because the party will be held on the last day of Fashion Week.
It appears as though, Valdes is the “Wizard,” that pulls all the strings. However, this “Wizard” has an impressive resume to back up his ideas. Valdes is extremely educated, and has been successful accomplishing his goals. This is why celebrities like Ice-T want to partner with him. At the end of the day, Valdes is a fairly young single dad (he is in his 30s), and small business owner. However, he is so much more than that as well. In this case, I am not talking about his résumé. I am speaking about his ability to go the extra mile. It is clear that Valdes really cares about his projects, and partners.
In sum, Valdes states: “I have been fortunate to make some good relationships in politics, entertainment, and business over the years …” ”I am really enjoying melding those relationships with one another to help people via organizations that support education, disaster relief, and other important causes.” This sounds impressive to me. I am sorry that I will miss the huge party, but I look forward to the information, and photos from my sources. I also can not wait for the launch of Vintage NYC Magazine where there will be an article about Valdes, and the party as well. Stay tuned. There are big things coming from Valdes, the event, and I will bring it all of it to you in a few weeks.
