Interview: The Inspirational Side Of Love Majewski Of VH1 MobWives

My “first date” with Love Majewski who is starring on the VH1 hit show MobWives went great last night. According to Love (and I agree) all interview sessions are just that- A date. You are getting to know someone by the questions you ask, and the answers they give. All I can say is that I wish all interviews went the way Love’s went (we spoke for about an hour). She actually renewed my positive self, and she is refreshing to talk to. In fact, I am writing an article on Love versus a ten question cookie cutter style question and answer session. You will see that Love Majewski is anything, but “cookie cutter.”

Of course, we chatted about the show MobWives. As you saw on an episode of MobWives, the kids remind the women what relationships should look like. Even when the women fight, the kids get along. Although, Love does not have kids at this point (she is ready), her relationship with the other cast members run deep. She has known Karen Gravano, Ramona Rizzo, and Jenn Graziano (creator of MobWives) since they were all teenagers. Love states that Drita D’Avanzo recalls meeting Love when she was a teenager, and Drita was just a girl (they are about five years apart in age). Even though, Love does not remember the meeting, she does tell me that she and Drita are becoming closer than ever lately. When it comes to Big Ang, Love recalls that her sister’s husband owned a bar that Big Ang worked at years ago. Lastly, Love is also close to Renee Graziano, but has only met Carla Facciolo a handful of times. When it comes to Carla, Love definitely has an opinion. None the less, this interview is not about Carla anyway.

What does Love think about MobWives? Actually, Love Majewski could not be more thankful to be starring on the hit show. She states that she can not believe that she gets paid to hang out with her friends, and go through her normal routine. Even though, MobWives is a hit show, it is not Love Majewski’s first time in the lime light. In addition to having books out, she has also been on shows such as, “Deadly Sins,” and “I Married A Mobster.” In I Married A Mobster viewers get a look at the raw side to the mob life. In fact, some of Love’s life is so “raw” that the producers passed on some potential scenes. Love has lived a life-like none other. She has suffered abuse (beatings), she has been in a relationship with a man who is the head of a crime family, she lost a man to suicide (after they had an argument), she knows what it is like to have loved ones in prison, and her story goes on.

However, in terms of life now, Love Majewski looks back to her days of modeling for inspiration. She realizes that everyone puts their

pants on “one leg at a time.” Well, sort of. When it comes to Love, before she even puts a foot on the ground, she thanks God for the blessings that he has given her first. Then she steps with her “best foot forward.” I told you that she is inspiring right? Well, it get s better. Love has been asked to go to speaking engagements where women are in an abusive relationship, and they want to leave their abuser. However, Love turns the speaking engagements down. Why? Love feels as though she wants to inspire others to never get in the relationship (in the first place). When she was in an abusive relationship she did not handle her circumstances well, or even legally. Therefore, she does not feel as though she should educate the women IN the relationship. She wants to teach women to AVOID the relationship completely.

Let’s take a look at some more of Love Majewski’s current blessings. Love states that it has taken her 15 years to develop her products to perfection. For example, she has learned to develop products that will not dry out. Next, she has discovered how to effectively make the bottles bigger, and still price them fairly. Love reflects back, and thinks that perhaps if she had not lived the lifestyle that she has lived, her products would have been developed sooner. However, you work with the life that you are given. She is appreciative of the present, and looks towards the future (which I will go in to in a minute).

Another one of Love’s latest gifts is a trip to New York Fashion Week. She was able to partner with Richard of Per-fekt Beauty which is another cosmetics line. Per-fekt Beauty balances out Love’s line, and together they created a gun-metal eye shadow for the fashion show. Next, the makeup artist that Love worked with is the fabulous Suzana Hallili who Love has known for many years. In addition, the fashion designer, Alon Livne has also worked with the fabulous Alexandar Mcqueen. The night of the fashion show was magical for Love.

While Love was working at Fashion Week, beauty pageant stars such as Miss USA were running up to Love telling her that she is her favorite star on MobWives. Love could not believe it. She is humbled, and honored. The ironic part? While Love, and her cosmetics were featured at Fashion Week, “someone” was tearing her a part on Twitter. Love just realizes that people will say what they will, but she knows that she is doing well, and again she is humbled by those that appreciate her hard work.

To recap, Love Majewski has lived a life-like none other, and she realizes that “God gives his hardest battles to his toughest soldiers.” She has been a successful model, she is featured in books, and she stars on several T.V. shows. Currently she is starring on MobWives, she is a hot makeup artist, and Love owns her own cosmetics company. With Love’s positive attitude, she really can have it all.

However, what does Love want to see in her future. And what is next for MobWives? Love wants actual love, and possibly kids. She realizes that she had to live the life that she was given. Therefore, there has not been room for lasting love, and family yet. Her future, and heart are open. Will we continue to see a new romance on MobWives this season? You will have to keep watching! Anything is possible when it comes to Love Majewski. In fact, I have only written half of our amazing conversation. I believe the other half is meant for me to grow from. I learned so much, and I am so happy to share this amazing interview with you all. Of course, I am excited by the fact that I was able to speak with Love Majewski personally.
